Landscaping Completed

We are pleased to announce the completion of a xeriscape landscaping project at our Shelter.  Life Scout, Jonathan Brockhurst of Troop 452, used this as his Eagle Scout project.  This project was months in the making and required over 100 volunteer hours to acheive.  More than 150 trees and shrubs, mostly native plants, were planted making our shelter entry a more inviting space.  HAT'S OFF to Jonathan and all who participated for helping meet this goal!  Jonathan is a grrrrrreat young man who when asked what would happen if this project wasn't approved, calmly replied, "I'll do it anyway - it's that important."
