"Coco"

Dear Citrus County Pound Employees-
I wanted to write to you and let you know that we had a most positive experience at your facility!
I went in with the intent to save a homeless pet, rather than buy from a store or breeder. I thought I was going to bring a small doggie home, but.. lol.. I spoke with Ralph, he showed me all the breeds and with his knowledge and Dog Whisperer like skills.. he found her.. OUR new little Girl!
I saw several doggies that day, and I wanted to save them all - but when she and I met in the courtyard and she came to my lap and rested her head there, looked up at me, then kissed me on my chin... sigh.. Let's just say "I knew".
I came home to think it over and quickly returned to confirm I wanted to take her home. She tested postive for Heart Worms, and your facility very kindly advised me I didn't have to go through with the adoption, but I knew that her chances of finding a home at that point would be even more less likely. She had already been there two months.
I researched the info given to me by your Vet, she was wonderful and reassuring. This can be treated in many ways.. and we are going forward!
Coco is a happy, healthy, otherwise Little Girl that upon coming into our home instantly "was home". She is so well behaved, awesome temperment, happy and loving. She may not be a tea cup doggie, but she certainly thinks she is a lap dog!.. We don't mind a bit! It tears me up to think had I not been there that day to find her, what might have happened to this beautiful and intelligent companion. Fortunately this story has a happy ending.. we Love our Little Girl, CoCo Chanel!
Thank you. Your kind and caring staff made it a smooth and easy adoption!.. Thank you!
I am actively spreading the word now.. to find every homeless pet a home!
